UPE Joyrydez is a premier car rental service offering a wide range of vehicles to suit all your travel needs, from compact cars to luxury sedans and SUVs.
We are conveniently located in Lake Bluff Illinois with vehicles based in different locations. Pick up address for the vehicle will be provided upon completion of the reservation process.
Yes, pickup and delivery services are subject to availability of staff for an additional fee. Rental must be paid upfront for this service. We offer pickup/delivery up to 25 miles.
Rentals are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays. Office hours are Monday to Friday from (9 AM to 5 PM)After hour and weekend appointments are subject to a convenience fee. Delivery is optional!
You can make a reservation through our website, over the phone.
Yes, you can modify or cancel your reservation online or by contacting our customer service team. Please note that all sales are final. UPE Joyrydez does not provide any returns or exchanges of any kind. Our goal is to provide you with excellent service like no other. Credit certificate is issued for any unused rental days, valid for 30 days from purchase date.
To rent a vehicle, you need a valid driver's license, a credit or debit card in your name, security deposit, and proof of insurance. Additional information may be required for certain rentals.
Yes, renters must be at least 21 years old. Drivers under 25 may be subject to a young driver surcharge. Premium vehicles can only be rented by a person age 25 or older.
Our cars come with a full tank of gas, and we ask that you return the vehicle with a full tank, otherwise the $120 fueling fee will be deducted from the deposit ($30 per 1/4 tank). Alternatively, you can opt for our prepaid fuel option.
Most of our rentals come with 200 miles per day, unlimited mileage is available for $50 per day and is required for 1-2 day rentals. However, certain specialty vehicles may have smaller mileage restrictions. Please check your rental agreement for details.
No smoking, vaping, alcohol and drugs allowed. Doing so is a violation of the rental agreement and will result in termination of rental with cleaning fees. There is a $300 cleaning fee for standard vehicles and $600 for premium vehicles.
Yes, we offer a variety of insurance options to suit your needs, including (RCP) Renters Collision Protection, Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Personal Accident Insurance (PAI).
Yes, we offer child seats, GPS units, and other accessories for an additional fee. Please request these items at the time of booking.
We accept major credit and bank issued debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Debit card payments have increased requirements and restrictions. Cash, prepaid cards, online only bank cards, and payment apps are not accepted for rentals. However these methods can be used for security deposits and to settle any unpaid balances upon return of the vehicle. Credit cards are required for any premium vehicles.
No, we strive to be transparent with our pricing. All fees will be clearly outlined in your rental agreement. Vehicle rates may increase during times of high demand such as weekends, holidays, big events in Chicago/Milwaukee, super bowl, prom season, summer, holiday season, etc.
Yes, a security deposit is required at the time of rental. The amount varies based on the type of vehicle, payment method and rental duration. Standard security deposit is $300 with credit card. Debit cards a require 2X deposit. Premium vehicles require a larger deposit. Cards must match name on renters driver's license. If another party wants to pay, they must sign rental agreement and provide a valid driver's license. Any transactions made with unauthorized and unverified cards are considered fraud. Termination of service will occur which is non refundable. If partial payment is made and renter is unable to complete security deposit, $150 contract cancellation fee will apply.
If you experience any issues with your rental car, please contact our customer service team immediately for assistance. You are fully responsible for the vehicle during the rental. Optional (RAP) Roadside Assistance Protection is available for purchase before the start of rental. (RAP) coverage, 3 gallon fuel delivery, key lockout, battery jump start, flat tire change if spare is available, towing if needed. Does not cover the price of a replacement tire. If not purchased, standard roadside provider fees apply.

Yes, you must have valid insurance to rent a car from UPE Joy Rydez. You can upload a copy of your own insurance during the checkout process. If you choose not to upload your own insurance, you must purchase insurance prior to your rental and present proof at the time of vehicle collection. No vehicle will be released without valid insurance. For your convenience, insurance can be purchased from Bonzah or through us. Give us a call. Full coverage insurance must be provided and maintained by the renter for rentals longer than 2 weeks, monthly rentals, leases, long term rentals and rideshare/gig economy rentals.
All rentals must stay within 100 mile radius of Lake Bluff, Illinois.
Company approval is required for out-of-town rentals, with the following terms and conditions: full comprehensive insurance coverage, roadside support, and a security deposit (3x) the standard amount. Failure to meet these conditions will result in a breach of contract and the immediate termination of the rental agreement and fines. Contact customer service prior to booking a vehicle for out of town use. We do not offer 1 way rentals.
